  • Degree of comparison is divided into 3 parts :

    Explanation :
    1. Positive degree
To use when we speak about only one person or thing.

    • It is a beautiful flower

    2. Comparative degree
To use when we compare two things or two person with each other.

✓ For 1 syllable & 2 syllable that end with y letter we use word+er

    • He feel luckier than tomorrow

✓ For 2 syllables or more we use more + word
    Example :

✓ There's some of the words that have irregular comparative forms, such as :
    • good = better
    • bad = worse
    • far = further
    • little = less

✓ For positive form that 2 things or 2 persons are the same we use as...as.

    3. Superlative degree
To use when we compare more than two things or persons with one another.

    ✓ For 1 syllable & 2 syllable that end with y letter we use the + word+est
    Example :
    • She is the luckiest person in my family
    • He is the tallest boy in the class

✓ For 2 syllables or more we use the + most + word
    Example :
    • He is the most handsome model in that agency.

✓ There's some of the words that have irregular comparative forms, such as :
    • good = better = best
